    • Immersive Environments Courses – Students are taught Blender3D, which is used for 3D modeling, object texturing and shading, animation, and cinematic rendering. Unity3D is used to simulate & interact with the digital twins using both the Oculus Quest and Microsoft HoloLens

  • Represented MSU ISER for all on-campus interactions and executive council meetings, which included the College of Engineering and Office of Research and Economic Development leadership meetings

My role was to ensure the technical approach being conducted was meeting the sponsor's needs, which were the Marine Expeditionary Rifle Squad at Quantico.           

Human Systems Integration Engineer

Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA

  • Conducted research for the Surface Naval Platforms and Marine Corps that supported human factors enhancements to the Warfighters. These projects included creating adaptive data visualization techniques for managing Aegis Combat System automation doctrine as well as investigating the 3D gestural technology feasibility in the Naval Command and Control environments

  • Proposed and secured 1.6 million in funding in the areas of human-machine interaction and gestural recognition research during my tenure 

  • Conducted human factor weapons and platform space assessments to ensure the warfighter was safe and functional in the military vehicles and from a physiological perspective. Specifically, the research was conducted for the Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle to ensure that the warfighters were protected during the loading/unloading of the 50 caliber gun. Additionally, biomechanics and EMG studies were conducted, and modifications of the MRAP were incorporated to increase warfighter safety
